M2 Motorsports - The MINI Cooper Ss plastic coolant expansion tank is extremely susceptible to secreting coolant from anywhere around the middle seam. If your existing expansion tank is suspect or is diagnosed as leaking then replace it immediately with this M2 MOTORSPORT alloy expansion tank. 

These are a very common failure on many BMW MINI models! As the coolant system is pressurised there is a chance that a leaking coolant tank can explode and deposit its content all over the MINIs engine bay.
